I have my maternal grandmother's cedar chest that my grandfather made for her. It is one of my most treasured items! So nice that you have this keepsake!

My mother got my grandmother's cedar chest. When it got scratched, my father put in the barn to hold hay for the cows. My brother and I were teens and knew how awful that was. So I especially admire your piece.
